Yesterday I went with some friend to Barcelona to see the musical Chicago. At one o’clock, we cached the train. We arrived and we look for a restaurant. We ate in a FresCo, a self-service restaurant. After that, we went for a walk and finally to the Tivoli theatre.
Chicago is a Broadway Musical that it was released for the first time in 1975. It’s about a satire on corruption in the administration of criminal justice and the concept of the "celebrity criminal" in the mid 1920's in Chicago.
At the beginning, we didn't understand anything but when the history was going in we started to complain the plot. The actors, dancers and musicians were completely professionals. The protagonists danced with very high hills and they danced with any problems.
In my opinion, there's an excellent musical but I think that the actors and dancers don't have the enough space to dance because the musicians were on the stage. If the musicians were under the stage, the actors and dancers would have more space to dance.
Here I add you the first scene of the musical: "Al son del Jazz"
See You!
I know the song... In English it's called "All that jazz", a classic musical song...
